Hello,

It would be great if Remuco could control the MythTV music player.

There is a mythtv protocol that I understand you can use over WiFi:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Category:Myth_Protocol

So the best way may be to use that.

why limit it to the music player?
Mythtv is a complete media player with videos, tv recordings, gallery and music 
playback...
