Autoconnect to Wireless network / Media Palyer #147

What feature or enhancement would you like to see in Remuco?
I have a wireless access point defined on my phone (Nokia). I'd like to
auto-connect to a specified wireless access point and also auto-connect to a
certain media player / connection.

Do I get it right, your phone automatically connects to your AP and the Remuco
client should, if connected to that AP, automatically connect to a specific
host/media-player?

What currently happens:
- I open Remuco.
- My list of media player connections appear. I coincidently have only one:
Totem.
- I tap on my Totem connection*
- My phone prompts me to choose my access point. Being at home, my own wireless
access point is shows as the default
- I click it*
- It connects to Totem successfully.

The steps above marked with stars are the ones I'd like to remove by some
automation.

What I want:
- I open Remuco
- It automatically connects to the Totem connection (because I've set it to).
- It automatically connects to my wireless hotspot
- Remuco has successfully connected to Totem.

This idea came across me when I started using Gravity twitter client on my
Nokia 5800. For a pre-defined wireless access point, it would auto-connect to
it (even disconnecting from 3G), when the wireless access point was found in
range.

I don't think this is possible on MIPD (JavaME) phones. Android might be a
candidate though, possibly by also using zeroconf features.

It's possible with a real Symbian apps. As I mention above, it's exactly how
Gravity works.
