Reuco Gnome3 support #164

What is your environment?
* OS: Fedora 15 (Gnome3)
* Remuco version: 0.9.5
* Client device: Blackberry Bold 9700
* Player: Rhythmbox / Banshee

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Update to Fedora 15 (Gnome3)
2.  install remuco-*
3.

What is the expected behavior? What happens instead?

An option for the remuco plugin should become available in the player's
preferences or plugins menu. It doesn't, so Remuco can't be enabled (at least
in the gui).

Additional information:

Gnome3 handles plugins differently from Gnome2, or maybe only in one specific
way. I'm trying to figure out if I can't manually enable it through gsettings
or some other way, but an official install package would of course be nice!

SOLVED
remuco-PLAYER needs to be readded to startup applications:
gnome-session-properties

What do you mean that it has to be readded? I added it to the startup
applications, everything's great but I just can't connect to it, no
errors...just connection fail on my phone. Works on every other distro, just
Fedora 15 hasn't let me use it yet.

@joostpa.. so, is this fixed now? The Banshee adapter needs to be set up as a
start-up application while the Rhythmbox adapter is a plugin and automatically
starts when the player starts. So what exactly is failing respectively works
again?

I'm having problems with Gnome3 and Rhythmbox as well... I don't really use
Banshee, so readding to startup won't help me.

I tried to look where would Rhyhtmbox Plugins be, and I found them at
/usr/lib/rhythmbox and /usr/share/rhythmbox. When Remuco installs, it goes to
/usr/lib only, but not to /usr/share (can that be the problem?). I tried
pasting everything from /usr/lib to /share, but nothing seem to have happened
XD (n00b, I know)

So, if anyone have came up with a solution already, I'd be happy to know what
do I need to do =]

BTW, I'm using the PPA that comes with Ubuntu Oneiric, if there's a new version
available somewhere else, I probably don't have it =]

Thanks guys o/

Seems that plugin interface changed in rhytmbox 2.90.
The plugin files end now in .plugin instead of .rb-plugin. Same goes to the
plugin section in the plugin file.
By changing this the plugin is recocnized by rhyhtmbox, but it is marked as
uninstallable.
So we have to wait for the developers to change to the new rhytmbox plugin api.
