Blackberry Gemini (8520) WiFi - Timeout while waiting for hello message from server #92

What is your environment?
* OS: Ubuntu 10.04
* Remuco version: 9.2
* Client device: 9.2
* Player: Rhythmbox

What's the matter?

I have the client installed on a 8520(BES).

I am using a Wifi Connection and whenever I try to connect with the client
I am getting the error "Timeout while waiting for the hello message from
server".

I've tried with wifi in the Options textbox.

I am still trying to figure out how to verify if the packets from the phone
is reaching the stack on the host computer. Nothing in the system log. I
have enabled DEBUG in the remuco plugin.

When the client waits for the hello message, there is at least a connection on
TCP
level. Could you please post the DEBUG-enabled log
(~/.cache/remuco/rhythmbox/log)?

Concerning the wifi option, you mean "interface=wifi"? Alternatively, have you
tried
the option "deviceside=true" (see issue 67)?

I have gotten this to work. This was a ID10T error on my part.

I entered "wifi" instead of "interface=wifi". Thanks for your response.
