Sound problems on GBA games (not correct sound emulation/playing?) #306

This is something I'm experiencing with various GBA games: they don't sound
like they would have to, or sometimes some sound channels are skipped.

For example, this is happening a lot for me with Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga:
I remember that when I played it on the PC the emulation was flawless, and so
was the sound. Now that I'm playing the game on my Wii, it isn't the same
thing. It can't be a region difference, because both my TV and the game and
NTSC-U.

I have tested and compared the emulation on PC and Wii to corroborate this, and
yes, like I said before, it works perfectly fine on my PC. Any thoughts?

Wii: using Visual Boy Advance 2.2.2.
PC: using Visual Boy Advance M SVN938.

Has this been for any other games? It's only been happening to Superstar Saga
for me.
And some sounds are skipped, while other are very low.
