I haven't installed this in Parallels yet, but I run Parallels on a daily
basis. You should be able to install it in Parallels, then pull up a command
prompt in window (RUN cmd.exe) then type ipconfig. That will give you your IP
address LOCALLY (meaning it will only be able to be accessed by your mac) as
the "IP Address". You should be able to type that into the mac side in a
browser subsituting all the places in the documentation they say localhost,
with that IP Address. For example, my IP is 10.211.55.6, so I would type into
the Eve browser: http://10.211.55.6:9999/ and that should bring up Navbot.
Post back if that works so others can get a confirmation.

Hey, I'm not sure if this worked out for all concerned but I am running into
the same issue. Have navbot running in parallels. I tried plugging in the IP
address of my virtual machine with no luck. Even tried opening up port 9999
and disabling firewall. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hey, I'm using a wrapper to run navbot in OSX and the only problem I'm running
into is locating where navbot initiates the webpage. As of currently when I put
localhost in the browser it comes up with my OSX website. Does anyone know
where navbot exports out the html page? I found the Web Server items in the
source, but I have very little knowledge of the windows operating system, or
where navbot installs these items.

Navbot appears to only respond to the word "localhost" in my messing around I
have found that it does not seem to respond to any IP address, Not even
"127.0.0.1" on the machine (or Host) that it is running on. Has anyone made
this work? in Parallels? I'm running Win7 (Guest) on OsX 10.6.8.
I have been able to get it to run withing the Win 7 Guest but some of the
functionality is lost as I'm not using the IGB as intended.
Thanks.
