Collecting usage data #4

Thought I'd raise this topic here as well, and sooner rather than later. We only briefly talked about this before with Timo and Aleksi, but we obviously want to collect as much data on how the app is used (everything from DAUs to individual user actions; i.e. session times, clicks, navigation patterns, time spent on the feed/map, and so on) for analysis purposes.

As I don't know the details, how trivial/complicated is it to implement this? How is it done?

This is a bit bigger issue. We can talk about this on our dev meeting tomorrow.

What I can say for certain:

  1. It's not going to be trivial.
  2. It's going to have a slight impact on the app performance.
  3. It can be done.
