The idea of building a growth path for all the existing technologies or frameworks that you could use to build your systems is a daunting and probably futile task. We've taken to using generic skills to cover off broad areas ie: 'In-depth knowledge of a single database technology'. The challenge with a skill like that is that it doesn't cover the fact that while I may have in-depth knowledge of MongoDB, that's not really relevant to my organization which uses Postgres.

The proposed solution is to be able to add relevant technologies to a given skill. The skill above would have Primary Technologies: 'Postgres', 'MySQL' and Secondary Technologies: 'Redis', 'Cassandra' etc. Likely when evaluating one of these skills, rather than selecting 'Yes' you would choose which relevant technologies you have.

MVP:

• Add Primary & Secondary technologies to a skill (relevant only to the skill & the map it's in)
• View Primary & Secondary technologies when evaluating skills (paginated view + skill details)

• Select which technologies you have during an evaluation

We've decided to hold off on this feature for now. Unless other's think it's super important we'll hold move this to medium-term.
