Hey, we really appreciate your contribution. However, we do not really get the concept of being able to talk with people who are not nearby. May you put us in the picture?
I have 10-15 friends on the server at any given time. We want to join our own subgroups when nearby (such as in base), but most of us do not want to be alone for long periods of time. Introducing an unmuted lobby has generally brought satisfaction by allowing players to hang out with other lone adventurers. We now have the ease of use of automated voice channel switching without the moments of silence while adventuring solo.
I can understand not everyone would use this feature, but it fits the use case for my server. It is also added as a configurable option so that unmuting the lobby is not the default behaviour.
Lobby Muting
Added a configurable option to have players in the lobby channel muted or unmuted.
What this does:
By default, mute-lobby is set to true and use of this plugin is as intended. When mute-lobby is set to false, players in the lobby channel are not muted.
