Modern Installer Breaks Boot, Browsers and System Restore. #185

Boots "IDE" ATA and AHCI, I havn't tried RAID. 360ChromePortable_13.5.2036_r1_ungoogled.zip and System Restore work.

Modern Installer Breaks Boot, Browsers and System Restore. A workaround for WindowsXPx86-32bit is to edit the c:\boot.ini, so the system can boot. remove "/NoExecute=OptIn" " 'uncheck readonly to save file'

I noticed that there is a file size difference between ntldr "297 KB (304,992 bytes)" from modern setup and xp vanilla "244 KB (250,048 bytes)" xpx86-32bit binary package.

I think its NTLDR bootloader - UPDATE: It is not, same behaviour when copying ntldr orginal. when it gets updated windows just keeps rebooting in normal mode. This happens only when Modern Setup is installed. This might explain why bootmgr doesnt work with modern setup since ntldr calls it. thought it doesnt explain when the bootloader is upgraded to bootmgr, that windows safemode stops working.

Winsdows System Restore. Open but shows a blank screen.

When modern setup is installed are newer programs suppose to run in windows 7 compitabilty mode?

I used sysprep.exe in c:\windows\system32\sysprep. I still needed to remove "/NoExecute=OptIn" in boot.ini or the system would just reboot in normal mode.
