I'm not sure about the nature of this issue, but the 'bug' behavior depends on current visual style. The text entry next to the checkbox is completely missing. Not to mention (probably out-of-scope) HTTPS connection failure due to unsupported versions of TLS and encryption methods. This is how it is expected to look like (running from Windows 8.1 machine)

One-Core-API 2.8.1, Windows XP Professional SP3 x86.

There should not be solid background behind the text, if classic theme is used. Text is black instead of white when any other theme is used. No 'Create desktop shortcut' entry (probably), no estimated disk usage under the installation path. Bunch of stuff is missing from the installation wizard if it was run under Windows XP.
