Market Enabler did not work: we got a problem Houston :( #156

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installed .apk fine - enabled 3rd party apps on phone
2. selected various US and fake this provider now, error message
3. selected various US at boot, turned phone off, turned on, nothing different, 
still Chinese market place, searching for firefox returned 0 results

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected to to access official Market Place so website can ID my phone, 
currently my profile is listed as no devices, phone can't connect to market 
place but instead China version loaded on unlocked phone purchased in China 
using a China SIM...  Have read using another country SIM might work, don't 
have one but will see if I can get one.

What version of the product are you using? On what ROM?

Have since loaded successfully AndExplorer, Firefox 8, and Android Market 
3.3.11 and still unable to activate my phone on Andriod Market place so I can 
download apps from there instead of searching out APKs and scanning for viruses 
before loading onto my phone and installing.

Market Place opens, states no phone registered and offers option to register, 
selecting this closes the app???, no options available on the app to do 
anything else, cancelling also closes the app.  Trying Market Enabler might fix 
this but can't get it to successfully mimic another location, using exact codes 
or any location loaded does not work.  The mimic on boot won't work unless I 
donate to get an unlock code, but not sure I want to do this as it isn't 
working now and not sure if the issue is A) Motorola China's version of 
MotoBlur, B) China SIM card's configuration that might be interfering somehow, 
C) Motorola Defy+ is a newer phone with 2.3.6 and Market Enabler might need an 
update.

As I can only install .apk files manually I at least was able to locate and 
install AndExplorer making it much easier and not requiring me to root my new 
phone.  Not being able to download/join the Android Market place is very 
limiting my phone and only the Motorola Shot4Apps that is tied to the China 
android market place is working, would like to spoof another region so I can 
get my official Android Market App to work and register my phone so I could 
download via my PC and install with a sync...
