When I click 'create a scaling monster' I get the following error.

Additionally, when I attempt to convert an existing monster I receive this notification.

Here is the dev log error I get when attempting to change an existing creature's sheet to GMM.

I just found out what this issue was via the Foundry discord. I had the Sanity/Honor gameplay feature enabled previously. After disabling it this module works flawlessly!
