Try to flutter clean
before building.

In fact, this error just occured when I tried solving the issue #52 in the example app. I fixed it by upgrading the Kotlin version in android/build.gradle
:
buildscript {
ext.kotlin_version = '1.8.20'
// ...
}

Summary Errors of kind "Duplicate class kotlin....." appears when this library is added to the newly created flutter app.
