Sound notification won't turn off

Please answer the questions about build version and network, will save
developers a lot of time !

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Sending notification from chrome to phone of browser website
2. I rebooted phone and tried again and same problems
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I just want the sound to stop playing.  It is playing my ring tone continuously 
and the only way to stop it is to re-boot the phone.  I have turned off sound 
to stop it for now.  This was not a problem before, but today is first time it 
happened.

What version of the android, in Settings -> About phone -> Build number 
(6.7.2-180_DHD-16_M4-31
ex. FRFxx ) ? If less than FRF50 - see the FAQ.

Is the phone using WiFi or mobile network when problem occurs ? If Wifi,
are you behind a firewall that blocks outgoing connections ? WiFi and no the 
firewall allows for sending out and coming in

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ? yes

Can you open "Talk" application ? Do you see incoming chats ? yes and yes

Please provide any additional information below.

This happened twice already so I assume it is a new problem.  Please advise.
