on load, have both components retrieve data from mongoDB.

currently receiving status 500 on axios request, asked for guidance after research, working on other tickets for now

guidance helped greatly with trouble shooting, issue was with proxy requests, stopped using nodemon and errors stopped. continuing with development without using nodemon.
