Scan modes for rplidar s2 #76

Hi we recently acquired one of s2 and a3m1 lidars for outdoor robotics use case. The performance has been wonderful. I was wondering what values can be set on the scan_mode parameters in ros and if there's any document regarding this to understand it better.
