Hi Nikolai, Sorry for this second PR, but after reading your comments and the text of the white paper, I thought I should simulate 3D data instead of the more elaborate simulation experience I had in mind. This PR contains the code to reproduce the latest Figure 2e. I also added a figs directory with the source images for assemble Figure2e.
