New upcoming VRChat update? #3

I have heard rumors that a new big VRChat update is coming. Its going to address multiple security issues including scanning for clients, mods and other sort of game modifications to the game. I wanted to know when this update comes out will this get a big amount of people banned from the game? As there is a whole lot of people whos using it. I just wanted to know if i would get banned or not i dont want to get banned from using this. I also dont use VRChatModInstaller in any malicious way. I really only use if for the small enhancements mods and nothing at all that can impact other users in the platform. I just wanted to know about this because im very nervous of this upcoming update to VRCHat.

What you COULD do is this: Pay attention to version numbers and if you are getting VRC from steam, when steam downloads the update.

When the big update lands, simply uninstall the mod(s) or fully reinstall VRC and keep an eye on this mod for when it gets updated.

Best option currently, and should keep you from being banned outright.

Though i doubt you'd get banned if you use mods that can't be visibly seen by other people. For instance, the mod that shows who joins and leaves a room should be safe to use, if it does not break when the new update lands... we'll see how things turns out however.
