Remove identifying headers breaks page #567

Description

with Url: https://www.lalocandiera.de

display flashes (parts) of site and then turns to white canvas. URL-entry gets filled with:

data:text/html,%3Cdiv%20style%3D%22width%3A%20100%25%3Bheight%3A200px%3B%22%3E%3C%2Fdiv%3E

It works for me. Can you check which version of WebView you are running and if you can upgrade it? Settings / About / WebView

thanks, problem reported with "com.google.android.webview (117.0.5938.60/593806000)"

after update to "com.google.android.webview (117.0.5938.153/593815300)" no noticeable changes. same with cleared app-cache. .... .... Now I think I found that following active Screenshot_2023-10-11fulguris privacy-option caused the trouble: "Identifizierbare Header entfernen"

this seems to be already fixed . i tested enabling it in 2 devices android 10 (armv8 and armv7) and saw no problem. works normally. i typed that site u writed too and loads normally .

Well, on my device[1] this problem persists on this site, with this option enabled or not. Turning off the content control and every privacy option doesn't do anything.

  1. WAS-LX1, Android 11, Fulguris v.1.9.17 from F-Droid, com.android.webview - v.111.0.5563.116

Still seems to be working fine for me on Android 10.
