Using surCord (or Acorn), when I hover on a channel which has some active threads, it shows a tooltip, and actually it has a translucent background, but no background blur with it, so it often gives something bearly readable, and as the background of the right click, the gif selector and other popout things like that do have transparent background, it would add uniformity to the theme.
