after discussing with @basileMarchand and @boisgera it appeared that there still was a missing piece for allowing easy reproducibility of the paper timings as published in the repo in timings.csv
and since I had written something to that effect on my end, I figured, why not pour it into the project
so here it is, together with
a revised version of paper/README.md to better spell out the steps to reproduce all the results
a modified version of time_pls.py to allow for selecting another output file if needed - that change is not crucial at all, just a bonus
