The tabify plugin adds the name of the tab to the URL as a fragment so that it can be linked to later. It also reads the URL fragment on page load to switch to the right tab.
I debugged it and discovered this is still happening but something is immediately removing it and jumping to the top of the page.

This is extremely annoying.
