What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Upgrade from firmware 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 after putting iPhone in DFU mode
using zIphone 3.0
2. Jailbreak, activate, and Unlock the phone using zIphone
3. Send text message from any mobile. iPhone doesn't receive it. Otherwise
the iPhone is FINE: ABLE TO SEND text messages and call/receive voice calls
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A text message is supposed to be received with a message preview.
NOTHING happens instead.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I used zIphone 3.0. Windows XP Professional is being used.
Please provide any additional information below.
I initially wanted to upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.1.4. I entered DFU mode
through zIphone (Prepare for Upgrade button). But midway through the
process, the process halted showing "An unknown error(6) was encountered"
and a yellow triangle with connect to iTunes was shown.
I now tried to go back to 1.0.2. The same error occurred. So I opted
randomly for 1.1.1 and thankfully the process was completed. I unlocked,
jailbreaked etc using zIphone3.0. Everything is ok, I can make/receive
voice calls, I can even SEND sms, but i CAN'T RECEIVE THEM.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I am using Windows XP Pro, iTunes 7.6.2.9.
