As discussed in the last meeting, I suggest extending the specification of the ConfigurationList parameters by adding (optional) default values.

It should be ensured that all place-holders are filled in when loading an EID XML.

If a required parameter is missing in the given parameter map, and there is no default parameter value, an error could be thrown.
