Pairing SH2 with Oneplus 5T with Android 10 not working #4

My Phone is a Oneplus 5T with Android 10. My partner had no issues with her SH2 update, she's on Oneplus 8 Pro/Android 11, but the phone wouldn't pair with the SH2 until she turned on the GPS on the phone. Permissions don't seem to be enough.

Feedback SmartHalo - May 18, 2021: We’ve noticed some Oneplus phones are a bit trickier in regards to their Bluetooth connection. We’ve shared this with our software team to see if we can find a solution, as we agree it’s not a great experience.
