Converting to Smart data objects isn't working

I bought the Pro version... and I have a json dataset which each object structure is identical... I tried converting it to Smart object, which should convert every object in the list... But it doesn't. I only converts a few. And the random name generator doesn't work.

This is really shitty. And I just paid for the pro version.

I had the same issue and found that if I did the smart object conversion twice - it worked as advertised (support via use case discovery)

A couple years later, but same issue; converting only converts some of them. I tried multiple times as @tyncup suggested, but still have to convert some manually.
