Missing Features/Tuneables That are Supported by Kernel #83

Open moriel5 opened 3 years ago

moriel5 commented 3 years ago

Device: Nexus 4 ROM: CrDroid (Android 7.12) Kernel: Sinai-N4 Current Kernel Manager: KA-Mod Reborn (recommended by kernel developer)

Interestingly, I have seen some of the aforementioned features in KA-Mod Reborn but not in SmartPack-Kernel Manager (such as Arch Power), and vice-versa (such as one of the wakelocks).

I'll edit this issue description later to add a compilation of the features/tuneables (real life calls me), and if needed, also from XTD Kernel Adiutor with the LineageXTD R7 kernel on LineageOS 14.1 (Android 7.1.2) on the LG G3 (D855).

Sure, I'll be happy to add new features once you provide more details. Thanks!

Alright, I just got around to checking on my Nexus 4 with the latest version of SmartPack (courtesy of IzzyOnDroid's F-Droid repo with AuroraDroid).

Interestingly, Arch Power now appears, though in a different location (under "Misc" instead of under "Battery"), so unless something had changed, it would appear that I had simply missed it.

The only missing feature on SmartPack is the MSM USB OTG feature (by ziddey and faux123), which with a USB-OTG adapter with external power (such as Lenovo's T-Hub), allows me to use USB-OTG on my Nexus 4 (it's broken, so I cannot utilize storage devices, however low-power devices like mice and keyboards work).

I'll check on my LG G3 when I have time.

Thanks. & I'll pick MSM USB OTG from KernelAdiutor-Mod. Please let me know if you find other useful stuff missing.

Thanks, in addition to checking the LG G3, I'll make sure to scout for any features on other devices/ROMs.
