Server "cloaks" after some time being online after tonight's patch #3237

I'm guessing something related to tonight's patch (forgive me if not) has created an error for one of my servers. I haven't changed any settings recently.

After anywhere from 20 minutes- to 2 hours, the server will begin to "cloak" and no one (except for seemingly randomly 2% of people) can join find the server in the list, or connect via IP. Everything within the server is fine, players aren't kicked and the server runs fine. If they leave the server, they can't join back in or find it.

http://prntscr.com/FFjWnaiT4ZO1 (server #4 missing from list)

(http://prntscr.com/HxuATiSMw5hL) (it also seems to display as offline from my server details bot)

(https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/unturned/6719956) server saying "failed to respond to query" on battlemetrics.

Restarting (temporarily) fixes the issue.

I couldn't find any suggestive error from rocket.log or server_server.log. If there's anything I should look for in logs to provide, please let me know, thanks!

I should note that this server is (by far) my most popular and sees an average of ~60 players. Subtle flex I know, but I figure maybe the number of connections is a cause for concern.

Hmm. This could be an issue with the ports that the server uses on the machine if this only happens to one of the servers.

I am inclined to agree with jatapa, but weird that it does work for a few hours. "Failed to response to query" means the Steam server details request on Port+1 failed.

Removed several plugins from my server, and since then haven't had any issues in about 16 hours. I suppose it was one of them causing an issue given no one else seems to have this issue. I'm going to re-add one of the plugins soon, I'll see if the problem resurfaces then.

Glad to hear you got it working again! Hopefully it was some intermittent oddity and works fine with all the plugins re-enabled

Meant to update way earlier. Re-added all the plugins and haven't had an issue since. Suppose it was just some odd one-off error.

Glad to hear it is working again!
