Does this still work / is the Info.json format still the same in 2022? #1

I have been able to add this to Plex Media Server in Windows e.g. JSON Metadata shows under Settings->Movies->Agents->Personal Media and I moved it to the top and restarted PMS. I have followed the guide regarding the putting it in its own folder in the Movies library folder as well as the file structure = [movie name.mkv, Cover.jpg, Background.jpg and Info.json file] Once I move the folder to Movies and run the scan, it shows up, but is devoid of any data other than the Movie name which is the same as the file name. If I go into the settings, it does show the Cover and Background images and I can select them, but none of the metadata from the Info.json shows up. It got me wondering if, 5 years later, if this agent still works or if the Info.json format is still the same as what is shown in the example.

I would love to get this to work and appreciate the time you have put into it. Thanks, Rob Holman

It mostly works for me. Important that you have to put the library type as a personal video, not as a movie library.

The one thing I haven't gotten working is the actors.

Edit: Nevermind, I got the actors working, just forgot I can't see them in the WebUI, had to go to the app on my tablet to see them.

That's kinda a downside. I can't get it working, what does your JSON file looks like?
