A No Reset Server

Describe the suggestion A Server that will never reset, outside of the current 6, where people can join and not worry about losing progress after not playing for a long period of time.

Additional context Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here. If nothing, please add 'N/A'. I used to play Smash MC a good amount, but the resets heavily drove me away, because they happened nearly every 3 months or so. SO I feel this would be a way to get more players on the server, outside of the regulars.

the main issue with that is that it can get very boring very fast once you have everything, the idea of resetting the server it to both give all players a fair chance and to create a new objective, how else do you think it could be done?

I understand the issue of having a no reset server is balance of activity, but what if half the possible player base is turned off from the idea of “hey, I’ma loose everything in 3-6 months” when playing, I’m thinking of the returning and possible new players that this type of server would bring in. Because in reality, the only way to guarantee when joining after a hiatus, and having anything on your character in Smash MC, is to have some form of rank. So I feel a No Reset Server would allow for more players that want a more F2P approach, with the ability to buy, rather then it feel slightly pressured to buy, and have the high of the enjoyment only last 3-4 months, because of fear of reset. (That’s just how I see it anyway, and I wanna thank everyone who’s seen and considered this on the mod team for listening, ya’ll are awesome!)

Another way this could be done however (because I completely missed the ending when reading the last message) is a server that has poll based resets, every few months, like 3-5, the community who plays the server will be asked “should we reset the server or not?” Ans depending on the answer to the poll, will depend on what happens, either it resets later that week or month, or it continues another 3-5 months of that current lifespan.

that would be interesting, another thing is that some players do like resets, thats why we have 6 different servers, (other than because they lag with too many players), some players like to start over. its true that it might be frustrating to get forced to loose everything, sadly unless we can find a better way, this is the best chance we have to give all players a fair shoot in the server. if you would like to collaborate with smash you can always dm me at Paradis#4432 and we can discuss this further
