Starlight transformation isn't working #110

I don't know which version of the pack I was in when I originally made star metal for the quest, but it worked normally.
I'm trying to make some more now (version 1.1.1) and it is not working. I've unlinked and relinked the crystal and waited for over 20 minutes with no transformation happening. I even thought about FTB chunk protection messing stuff up, but the temple is well outside my claimed chunks. I tried the nether wart block to soulsand transformation as well, it does not work either.

Did you make sure the crystal sees the sky?

Turn on creative, duplicate the temple crystal, destroy the original and place a new one. Or move to a new temple.

Don't know why, but the ones that were in in use under a previous pack version are (sometimes?) broken, but any that were newly generated to only activated later are fine. Currently on: 1.1.8
