Any update on this feature? And what about, for example, effects, soft bodies,
... as "tools"/library items in addition to the ones already present?

Hi,
Hmm, a lot of things have changed since Dec. 3rd when I posted this issue I'm
realizing...
It's really hard to maintain the qb2FlashLoader stuff, so with my limited time
lately I've focused more on core library features. For now, it should be
possible to add those types yourself if you have a few days to spare.
I will update this issue again when I manage to bring qb2FlashLoader up to date.

I'm still a bit confused on where to begin. For it (fla to AS3) to work (e.g.
convert all basic elements), what should be edited? I suppose there should be
more library elements that are defined as components which derive their
behavior from AS classes? So those AS3 classes would have to be written from
scratch (for all new functionality)? And the qb2FlashLoader should be edited as
well?
For this project, I'm restricted to using the PushButtonEngine, which only has
Box2DFlash v2 (a pain in the ass). If I'm allowed to use quickb2, I'll probably
write a lot of things that still need to be done.
Probably a lot of work if I want to implement items like advanced sensors,
custom wind and gravity, areas of influence, glass shatter, ... ? Or can I
easily mix different items in one class, visualise it on the stage and let the
loader handle the conversion to my actual AS3 project?
Lots of questions, I know :) But if it's do-able, it'll take some load off of
the work you still need to do for this part of your project.

Messing with the qb2FlashLoader stuff is pretty hellish...I wouldn't even know
where to begin to describe what you'd have to do...have you worked with
FlashCS5 components at all?
(sorry for taking time to get back to you...this slipped through the radar).
