Folding code chunks is only available in the html
output for R Markdown
. See 3.1 and 7.5 in bookdown
guide. Some javascript hacks have been developed to address this need, but we're still waiting on Yihui to add a feature.
@SmogDr - would you like me to place code at the bottom of the activity section like Brooke's book (e.g., "example code" sections) or have a key at the end of each chapter or as an appendix?

@wendtke I don't have a strong feeling about this. Maybe all the code/answers at the bottom of the chapter but each question/activity has a specific "answers" link that takes you there?
