This is the first of many long term additions coming into the game. Here's what this'll entail in extensive detail.
Individual Party Member Inventories
Individual Inventories Per Character: This means that every character will have their own inventory so that you'll have to give items such as weapons, potions, and such to another character before they themselves can use and equip them.
This means that you'll have to spend time thinking on how to actually go about getting that weapon you didn't give to Nitori or something so that you can easier win the fight. This seems pretty lackluster at the moment, but here's the planned features regarding this. I'll check-mark the list as such features get added in. As with all the others. Maybe you looted a chest mid-battle.
[x] The Ability to trade with other party members both in and outside of battle.
[ ] Weapons are planned to have weight, and therefore, actually make what you carry and don't matter. This will also apply for items and armor. Certain weights will impose penalties and depending on character, potentially benefits.
[x] Inability to use items unless they're in your inventory. This includes potions, bombs, equipping weapons mid-battle, etcetc. If the item isn't in your inventory, you merely cannot use nor benefit from it and in-turn, not be penalized for having it either.
[x] When an item drops mid-battle, killing character will get the items with-in their inventory which can then instantly be used or traded off to another party member.
[ ] Range Limitations with trading items. This means that without the special conditions, you have to be within X range (usually 1) in order to trade items with Party Member A.
[ ] Trading will consume a party member's action for the turn. (See: #6 )
[ ] Allowing enemies to trade between one another as well, allowing for dynamic sudden changes in fights.
