Working better than expected! #547

After installing Unbuntu, Docker Desktop, Portainer, and Nginx proxy manager all on my computer, I then configured port forwarding and create a DNS A record it amazingly works. So what's the problem? When I externally transferred my first image from my phone to the computer it worked but my phone had wifi turned off. I thought this was only suppose to work if you were on the same wife. I need it to work that way for security purposes. I confirmed this by sending a pic to someone across town. What did I do wrong or how do I fix it? Super new to all this so any help is appreciated. I haven't even got my SSL certificate from let's encrypt to work yet. I keep getting "communication with API failed, is NPM running correctly" (separate issue I believe).

Update: please see issue #548 for solution. I have turned off nginx proxy manager and installed cloudflare tunnel, No port forwarding (exposing ports), no DNS "A" records to make, and you get HTTPS. Yes that is amazing. Thanks to mwy001 for the solution. This is resolved
