Exclude blank images in S9 #62

@palme516 I've run across a lot of all-black and all-white images in S9, suggesting that there are some cameras out there that weren't functioning correctly. We should try to identify these so that we're not inflating our camera-trap-days measure by saying that there were "no animals" during a place and time when the camera wasn't recording properly.

@mkosmala IT here wrote me a python script a few months ago which pulls these images out. I'm hoping Cory can integrate it into our regular cleaning protocol, but perhaps Cory can show me how to run it on the data we already have.

@tesherista, could you coordinate with @palme516 to look at the script she's talking about? We'll need to invalidate the relevant captures in the database...

tesherista commented 8 years ago

Will do, after @palme516 recovers from her prelim tomorrow. Meredith, just shoot that script over to me when you get a chance.

@tesherista I just sent them your way!
