6 years ago Hi @uraymeiviar , generally, you should be asked to write down some code when you enable 2FA with your account, and that code is your secret. But also you can backup from the extension - just set the main password to empty, then the json should be un-encrypted.
if the gauth secret was gone, i can't restore it from this authenticator backup, because it was encrypted, so the backup is useless since it will only work with this apps, i can't use it for gauth restore in my android phone
