Connection Drops, Mouse on controlling computer remains visible. #32

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When controlling a Mac Mini fron my Macbook pro the connection is not stable. 
The computers are roughly 10 feet apart. I have to disconnect/reconnect often 
to regain control of the mac mini. I've tried Generic Device, iMac, and Modern 
Desktop as configurations.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Macbook Pro OSX 10.7.5 controlling Mac Mini OSX 10.7.5

Please provide any additional information below.
Please remove the initial setup splash screen or provide an option to not open 
it.
