Wrong keyboard layout for German iphone #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get a Macbook and change everything to german
2. try to type "i love 1keyboard"
3. read "i love 1lezboard"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i would like to see "i love 1 keyboard" on my iphone :/

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iOS 5.0.1 german

Please provide any additional information below.
International support would be awesome! :)

sorry, on my iphone (german) it works without problems.
maybe you should switch the keyboard layout on the phone?

Found the Solution:
I installed 2 keyboard languages a long time ago, and i'm able to switch 
between them with

CMD + SPACE

That was all.
Sorry for not reading the manual, if it was written there ;)

Is that changeable? I have something else on CMD - Space generally. The change 
seems to be permanent, so that's ok - but I write English and German quite 
often and the keyboard is linked to the spell checker language.
