I've seen this feature in a screenshot program called Lightshot. Essentially the output file name rule detects the path/folder you're going to save a screenshot to, and names them with a number ascendingly. Ex. the 1st screenshot in a folder can be called "Screenshot_1" and the 2nd "Screenshot_2". It all depends on the folder you're saving to.
