URC only working when keys are inverted #305

hi, i am trying to install this + inception to remap some keys from 1 keyboard to another, i installed inception using cmd (as admin), got the message saying it installed correctly, rebooted pc and its not working.

i have all the default security on in win10 but no threat detection has picked up either UCR or inception as far as i can tell.

if i 'invert' all the keys in the profile and then press the button twice it works but if I don't invert the keys, it won't do anything? am i possibly missing something?

i had this working for a long time in the past so i know it works with my hardware but had to reformat PC as i upgraded my HDD and since reinstalling windows have been unable to get it working without invert and pressing button twice.

Update: ive also just noticed that when editing the profile the "block" toggle switch is missing, there is only the invert option there is a K and a M varient of each keyboard and mouse plugged in, it will not work at all with the M variant, (included a screenshot to show) UCR inception

i have some questions.

  1. is this issue with interception and not with UCR?
  2. could this issue be because i have .net 6 and not .net 4.5.2? there doesn't appear to be a way to install both so i hope that is not the issue.

while trying to work around it i found it locked my keyboard out, investigations show that there is possibly a limit to how many changes can be applied or something because of a limitation with how windows handle's devices, is this issue relevant to physical hardware or only virtual keyboards?

well, given the lack of response, as far as i can tell this program is just broken and no longer works with interception
