Yes you can just use the Query feature, but instead of creating a SQL statement use the 'Call' syntax. For example if you have a stored procedure named exceltest, you can call it this way. call exceltest(); You will either need to use a fully qualified call like this: call mydatabase.public.exceltest() or you can select the database and schema and then set the default database by clicking 'Make Default' check box to the right of the Schema in the Query dialog.
Does this help? Steve
Hi, Thanks a ton for your quick response. I tried before reaching you the SQL option I see only Tables and views from DB but not this AutoCreate option is it the version issue? Thank you
Oh, I think I misunderstood your question. The Autocreate functionality has been removed because of some complications. Is it something that you would like? If there is demand for it then I'll work on it, but it hasn't been used much so I don't think it was worth it. Let me know what you think. Steve
Yes,I want to leavarage the Plugin and excute the SP. If you can help by giving that plugin that will be of great help Many Thanks, G
Hi Steve, Greetings! Will you be able to help with Add-in with which I can call SP from Excel please Regards, G
Sorry for the delay. This feature adds another level of complexity. I will have to update it based on recent changes and test it thoroughly if it substantially adds value. Before doing this, I really want to make sure there will be sufficient value. Would you help me understand the value to your team? The reason I think there could be limited value is because the column datatypes can be manually defined and I don't know how many new tables or columns users will add that need this. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
Thank you so much. Here is why I am asking our users will load the data based on need and based on their comfort and time from excel using the plugin to snowflake.Once they load the data...I have an SP which they have to run to see the output in power BI. Hope this helps

I'm not clear on the request. Is it to run any SP or is it specifically for the autodetect datatype feature?
To run SP
