As we know, with macOS Sonoma, we are able to copy verification codes from Mail.app as well. I suggest implementing it.

Seconding this. The moment I updated to Sonoma and saw that mail 2fa's would be autofilled in Safari, I immediately thought of 2fhey! I would be open to paying for the app again just to add this feature. I'm assuming it would be pretty trivial and hook into wtv aapl did to the mail app.
