Sign-up form validation fails if http is not used in website-like fields

Tried to sign up today.

The linked in field failed with "www.linkedin.com/in/aj-rivera".

Tried "https://www.linkedin.com/in/aj-rivera/" and it worked.

Unsure whether this is a bug or not. Chrome has gotten me used to typing just cnn.com
