Multiplayer and Playability Issues #252

I don't know if all of these issues are related so for now I will open a single issue with them. For extra information, I use the i3 window manager, not a desktop environment.

Cannot play multiplayer or see other racers Whenever I try to play any event in multiplayer, the game keeps on searching for drivers but never progresses. Today I also tried to play with a friend but I found out I cannot see them at all even thou we were both in the same server. I can teleport to them and they can teleport to me but I never see them and they never see me either. I saw a closed issue about a missing lightfx.dll file, which I do not have, but since I am running the linux build, idk if that is supposed to be included.

Cannot use powerups at all I can never use any powerups during races or in free roam. I tried both numerical keys and the keypad, but neither work, albeit the powerup I try to use does seem to decrease in amount by 1 after the race is over.

Weird issue with the in-game menus When I click "Play Now" in the launcher, the launcher will attempt to minimize itself which ultimately fails. After the game finishes loading and I join the world, I quickly find out I cannot close the news feed window. When I finally manage to get it closed, I also find I cannot use other menus while in free roam such as the Achievements menu. However the menus in the safe house seem to work. However, if I switch to another workspace right after clicking "Play Now" and before the game starts, the launcher fails to minimize but now appears on the workspace as a small bugged window. The menus in the game work normally this way.

Below I leave the last log from the launcher, however I suspect the information on it may be of little use. Launcher.log
