Can you verify which winemono is being installed?

maciozo commented 4 years ago

@metonator

How would I check this? I don't have wine-mono installed system-wide.

ghost commented 4 years ago

Under lutris, right click on game, and select wine control panel, then from here "add program" or smth like that.

maciozo commented 4 years ago

@metonator

4.9.4

Would installing 5.1.0 system-wide fix the issue? Or does the WINE prefix need some more configuration?

EDIT: Installing 5.1.0 system-wide with no further configuration made no difference

ghost commented 4 years ago

Yup, installing newest (aka 5.1.0) solves the issue. I also sent few days ago a installer fix to lutris team, but still awaits approval. Also, do not install system-wide

maciozo commented 4 years ago

Alright, I've installed the 5.1.0 x86 msi to the soapbox prefix, but I get the same error as before. Add/Remove Programs shows wine-mono as 5.1.0.
