Align development branch names with GitHub issues/cards. all code should be rebased hourly and checked-into the repo before the end of the day. #26

I'd like to start tracking commits and lines of code published as a metric so we can understand velocity of progress.

This all has to be done so that when we on-board community members, we wont be tripping over each other as we work

I'm moving this back to in-progress as it should be done continuously and should remain at top of "in-progress" until all cards are aligned with this part of the GitOps workflow process.

I do not expect that we should be spending any time on this card as it's more of a reminder than a work item. @Anilkumar18
