It would be great if the harvester could run on Google App Engine.

I don't really see this as happening. Google App Engine does some funky things with the HTTP client. It'll require a lot of conditions all throughout the code. Might be possible though.

Not feasible with the current direction of Social Harvest. May re-visit in the future.
