so we have standard and tree supports, but both honestly are kind of garbage to use they use a lot of extra filament, they seem to fail a lot, they seem to stick to the part too much just difficult when you really just need a simple solution

Which printers will be beneficial to this feature E.g. Voron/Klipper based printer/etc...

In Cura, I'm using a plugin called custom support cylinders... it creates some basic shapes, with options of flat, or pointed tips example being a cycliner/tube, square/tube , pyramid/trapezoid
